Gifts of Christmas Past

Last year’s presents were bright and fun. I’m trying to come up with a new scheme this year…but my packaging mind is all over the place! Usually the supplies have been gathered and the plan is ready by now. I’ve done purple and python print, hot pink and leopard, gold and houndstooth, kraft paper tied with buttons and pom poms…what next?

Birthday, Birthday

I did a terrible job of capturing my birthday festivities this year outside of a flurry of iPhone photos. It was a birthday that managed to stretch on for a week (not that I’m complaining) in a pink, frosted, champagne-drenched series of days.

From being surprised with this song on a portable record player on my porch, to cupcakes on my desk at work, to an outdoor family dinner, to Breakfast at Tiffany’s, to singing about inappropriate confetti at a rooftop bar, to so much more…I am really lucky that I got to celebrate with so many awesome people that I love so much. Thank you everyone for making 25 so special!

What my desk looks like right now. Tons of accessory supplies and my new disco ball. That disco ball is my thrifting holy grail: I’ve wanted one this exact size for about 5 years. When I saw it I screamed. IT WAS UNDER 5 DOLLARS PEOPLE. Dreams do come true.
