Oh Baby.

Not only is Emily the cutest pregnant woman ever (check those neon nails, statement jewelry and the sweet lace dress), her friends threw her the most stylishly delightful fête in anticipation of her new bambino. I was lucky enough to grab some snaps of the festivities…and down my weight in baked brie and champagne in the process.

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for a backyard luncheon peppered with bright flowers, rustic handmade touches, and good friends. Jordan even made a monstrous chocolate cake with a second layer of brownie.

The afternoon was a delight—good job party prep team! And many congratulations to Emily. There is a lucky baby coming into this world!

NYE 2012

We filled a room at the Hotel des Arts downtown with confetti, color, champagne, and friends. Each room at the hotel is decorated by a different artist, and we stayed in an awesome suite painted by Shepard Fairy and Tricia Choi…which meant really cool floor-to-ceiling Obey wheat pastings and crazy color explosions. Multicolored crepe streamers composed a rainbow wall, giant balloons and mylar stars floated about, and we toasted until the bottles were empty.

Some of us continued the climb up Nob Hill to a masquerade party, where we rang in 2012 under colored balloon ribbons, pizza and ostrich feathers. It was a lovely way to send off 2011, and I’m excited to see what adventures the new year will bring.

Hey tumblrs! I thought I’d try something new and advertise my casting calls here. I have two upcoming  projects for which I’m seeking local talent. All you beautiful people are encouraged to apply!

The mood board above is for the second project, which is the summer ad campaign for Manacio Clothing. We’ll be doing a series of photos and a fashion film to promote the 4th of July launch party. Think summertime, graffiti, skateboards, fireworks, bright colors, rooftops at sunset, etc. The video will be edited to the song Muevete Roche Rmx and we’ll be filming in various locations around San Francisco. Skateboarders, graffiti artists, fashionable freaks, dancers, and characters of all sorts are welcomed to apply. Check out the details here.
