I am dreadfully tired of the decor of my apartment–primarily my bathroom. With one of my 2012 resolutions being “always be a lady,” I am determined to turn it into a proper powder room as soon as possible. My apartment building is 100 years old, and there’s a bit of the bygone era left in nooks and crannies. I am cobbling together a feminine look with a touch of Hollywood Regency style, imagining the dressing tables of Garbo or Tallulah Bankhead as they readied themselves for glamorous nights out.

Two things!

I have talking about my friends a lot on here, and that’s because I am just so proud to be a part of a group with so many talents! As the girls near graduation, everyone is kicking it into high gear. They keep me so inspired in so many ways. They also keep me fashionable…

Number one: Vannessa’s Etsy creations will be going up soon, and I suggest you don’t hesitate on this one. The fringe trend is going strong for summer! I already have stuff on reserve. There will also be some editorial photos shot by my sister. So shop that next week. You can be sure I’ll post some of my favorites on here :)

Number Two: fashion designer extraordinaire Inez has launched a professional tumblr. Detailed behind the scenes from her runway collection, plus a ton more projects and fashion illustration coming! It also features the new branding we are developing together, and was coded by Nessa :) So follow that.

Hey tumblrs! I thought I’d try something new and advertise my casting calls here. I have two upcoming  projects for which I’m seeking local talent. All you beautiful people are encouraged to apply!

The first project is an in studio accessory shoot. Gorgeous dip dyed fringe earrings that will be sold online. Check out the mood boards and the rest of the details here.

The mood board above is for the second project, which is the summer ad campaign for Manacio Clothing. We’ll be doing a series of photos and a fashion film to promote the 4th of July launch party. Think summertime, graffiti, skateboards, fireworks, bright colors, rooftops at sunset, etc. The video will be edited to the song Muevete Roche Rmx and we’ll be filming in various locations around San Francisco. Skateboarders, graffiti artists, fashionable freaks, dancers, and characters of all sorts are welcomed to apply. Check out the details here.

Spring has sprung! The Floral Collection is finally for sale!

I just finished listing everything in my Etsy shop, so feel free to transform yourself into a nymph and grab a bunch of handmade clips and flower crowns for spring! Most are made from vintage flowers I carefully collected over the last few months, and finishing this project with my nutso schedule has been a labor of love and time and glitter-magic. Pretty much all of the money made from the shop funds collaborations and photoshoots with my sister, so it’s kind of like you’re helping the Joneses keep up with themselves!
