Ooooh old stamps! So much fun! I sent out all of my portfolio packets with old LOVE stamps, so I will say that you’ll need quite a few. What’s fun is mixing and matching themes or colors to make up the proper postage.

For unused stamps, Etsy and eBay are usually pretty fair and have a good selection. It just takes a little searching. That’s usually my first stop. If you’re in the Bay Area there’s an amazing little shop–The United States Stamp Company–downtown that specializes in old stamps and can even order specific designs for you. If you aren’t local, they may be able to send orders or refer you to a shop in your own area! Thanks for the kind words :)
