Antlers process.
Sculpted out of paperclay (which is malleable papier mache, so they’re light) with foil interiors. Sanded, painted, and mounted to a headband. Dyed a swatch of satin when I dyed my dress, so that I’d have a set of matching ears and a tail. The insides of these were lined with the fuzzy white lining of a baby hat I got at Ross for cheap. Scraps of the fluffy stuff also ended up on the front of the dress so that I have a fuzzy belly! Added thrifted vintage foliage for a crown of woodland leaves and berries. It looks so fun with crazy, feral hair and huge doe-sized lashes! I can’t wait to show the full costume :)
